Rooted in Hawaiʻi, Guided by Ancestral Relationship
Amauizon Botanicals was born through decades of relationship with Amazonian tribes and Hawaiian land stewards.
Our community on Maui works directly with Kānaka Maoli, kūpuna, and kāhuna to access traditional Hawaiian herbs through proper relationship, protocol, and kuleana. We collect, propagate, and cultivate specific Hawaiian cultivars while preserving plant lineages that are culturally and ecologically significant.
Alongside this work, we maintain long-standing partnerships with indigenous growers throughout the Amazon, supporting regenerative harvesting, fair exchange, and land stewardship.
This convergence of bioregions has given rise to what we call the Baby Amazon movement in Hawaiʻi — a living polyculture where Amazonian ceremonial plants and Hawaiian medicinal herbs grow side by side, guided by relationship rather than extraction.
A Living Polyculture of Functional Botanicals
Rather than isolating single ingredients, Amauizon Botanicals works with living plant relationships.
We cultivate and blend Amazonian and Hawaiian botanicals in intentional polyculture — allowing plants to support one another as they do in nature, rather than reducing them to standalone commodities.
This approach supports a more resilient expression of plant intelligence and results in botanicals that are:
Grounding and stabilizing
Clarifying and energizing
Supportive of emotional resilience
Aligned with creativity, focus, and embodied presence
Our work centers on functional botanicals traditionally used in ceremonial, wellness, and integrative contexts — including plants such as caapi, bobinsana, san pedro, mulungu, blue lotus, hemp, kava, kratom, kanna, gotu kola, passionflower, spilanthes, tulsi, turmeric, ginger, lemongrass, noni, and Hawaiian-grown supportive herbs.
This is not about stimulation or suppression.
It is about capacity — supporting the nervous system so people can meet life with clarity, steadiness, and ease.
